| - "I could care less." dude, it's "I *couldn't* care less" - writing in all capital letters. I can barely read most emails like that. - taking five hundred times more than necessary to say what you want to say. there's this one chick in my government class that will literally take five minutes to compose a sentence, "So........ <long drawn out pause> Like........ <another LONG pause>... if you're like a uh..... what's that thing you said? <giggle> Yeah... a public defense attorney or whatever..." And I'm *this* close to hitting her with something... if it takes you that long to process information, write down what it is you want to say then read off index cards or something... sheeeeshhhhhh don't put the rest of us through that much agony.. - websites with thirty different animated flashing thingies all over the place with neon background and text that's next to impossible to read. I got tons of em :P |

| salam! the thing that bugs the hell outta me is when i'm working, i keep my pen down for a second..only to find it missing the next second..and then i start rummaging through my paperwork causing an earthquake only to realise it's right under my behind..grrr....that ANNOYS!! ppl who preach what they dont practice themselves..that sure is ANNOYING! hypocrites and two faced ppl are certainly a put-off. in my college i know of ppl who will sit around koochi-kooing with their gf's but call the others who do the same cheap and characterless..now isnt that being two-faced awhat??? |

| Assalamu'alaikum :-) Not many things annoy me, but recently... these did.... 1) When men speak to me on the phone in a patronising way, coz, hmmm... I don't have that mature voice. I mean, I expect professional treatment on the phone too. ):( 2) When brothers stubbornly call me by my first name when they know it's totally OUT OF BOUNDS! Grrrr! This REALLY ticks me off! ):( 3) When people (ie. aunties, mommy's friends, strangers... just abt anyone) comment on my height ):( 4) When my brother said, he'll let me use the computer later in the night, but "later" is in the morning after I have already fallen asleep coz, I waited so long for him to finish using it. But seriously, mi brother's really a sweet fella, mashaAllah :) ... Just drive me nuts, sometimes! Take care all :-) |

| Gosh.! How do you all have the energy to be annoyed so much of the time! If I were to be annoyed by each of the things mentioned, I be annoyed all day every day. How exhausting that would get, and imagine how I would get on other peoples nerves with my continuous irritation over insignificant nothings. Where do you come accross all of these irritating people? I find people very enjoyable most of the time no matter who they are, and hardly ever a dull moment goes by :). People are my whole reason for living! What about them seems to annoy you? ;) (Sorry I asked.) What annoys me are mashines. They smell bad, and never work the way you want them too. 8-) Grrr. |

| *finally* a thread to vent... 1. when people put things in the microwave and they take them about BEFORE the timer goes off... and they dont clear the timer... so you're like "whats the time" and its reads 00:26 2. im actually suprised this wasnt mentioned... when people are driving (in the fast lane going slow), and you decide to pass them... but their blinker is on, silly thing is... ITS BEEN ON FOR THE PAST 5 MILES! and they're there jabbering on their cell phone ):( 3. its a nice sunny day outside... and people have their windshield wipers on full! ech... comeon people... it was only a *drop* of water that fell on your car... sheesh... 4. old people driving 5. when all of these happen in the same day... not a good day for adami :( |

| Assalam, There are 10.2 billion things that annoy me, but I'll just type some of them. 1. When I'm class and the person behind me is kicking/shaking my desk without realzing it. 2. Whenever I tell people I tell people that I'm Muslim, the women always ask me if I'm allowed to shave my legs. 3. Whenever I bring an Middle Eastern dish to work (such as grape leaves stuffed with rice) my co-workers always goes "EWW! What is that! That looks gross!" 4. Whenever I'm stuffed from eating or not hungry at all, my grandmother will keep trying to force me to eat. 5. Whenever I'm on a diet & I go to a relatives house & they KNOW I'm on a diet because I tell them so. They always serve me junkfood. 6. Whenever I'm with my parents friends or a relative, they know I do NOT speak Arabic but they'll go ahead and talk Arabic to me. And it's embarressing because I keep saying "What?" 7. My boss. 8. My co-workers. 9. I speak slang alot and I hate it when my co-workers always keep correcting my grammer. 10. jews(aka:murderers) 11. People who tell me lies and I know that they are lying, but they'll continue on telling me their lies. 12. People with bad breath and they talk to you real close. |

| Bismillah and salam, I am sorry for not translating, I thought I did. It is part of a longer hadeeth :"if one believes in Allah and in the day of judgement, he should say good things or remain quiet" We should have a good attitude of life and gratitude for our blessings. It surprised me how many people would writ this thread and not write thanks to reverts from what i learnt thread. I am not being down on anyone, but if you expect good things you find them. | Assalam'alaykum, I just want to say that I'm getting extremely annoyed with the posts written in slang, to the point that I actually skip them and totally ignore them. Prophet (saw) was always expressing himself very clearly and he's the example we must try to follow, not the example of the people on the streets. Wassalam |
