I need sum advise.

I have a friend (who i will call X) who has just began drinking cuz X is apparently stressed):(.  Do u  think i should leave X 2 doing what X believe helps fit in2 society and is cool 8-), or should i warn and then tell X's parents.  Is it right 4 me 2 say nething?  Or should i cover up X's mistakes?

Plz help me, im really confused.  If any1 here has been in a similar situation let me know what u did, esp those successful in stopping friends from drinking.

I had a friend who used to drink, I would tell him this is wrong, it's not healthy, u could get in trouble with the law (drunk driving).  I saw no need to tell his parents since he was an adult already.  alhamdulilah he saw the error of his ways and repented and no longer drinks.  So I would suggest you do the same, offer advice and support.  About telling parents, that depends on circumstances.

Well you could tell him what a senior drugs squad officer told me..that he thought alcohol was far worse than drugs...
