A woman without! Her man is nothing.

It's not the grammar that scares us off: it's the sexual politics!

A man needs a woman, just as a fish, needs a bike.

Br.Arsalan: A woman, without her man, is nothing.

nice try but the right answer was

"A woman: without her, man is nothing".

Br.Muhannad: "A woman, without her, man is nothing but a free and happy soul."

Now thats against the rules no extra words can be added.

Bro.Hanif: A man needs a woman, just as a fish, needs a bike.

How original but not quite what was expected..

Sr.Nehar: u men r nothing without women, we rule!!!

Well sis...Women are more versatile! :D

After all women form half the ummah and they give birth to the other half...Also how many of you bro's are soo independent that they can live without their mums, sisters helping them by ironing their clothes, cooking & all the other things that you take for granted???

" A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest"
The Boxer, Simon and Garfunkel

sorry it's  a bit off track but I thought I'd throw it in anyway since there's some U2 lyrics in here already.

Sorry don't quite get that ??

Sr.Nehar: u men r nothing without women, we rule!!!

Should be disqualified, looked meticulously for "u" and "r" in the dictionary but alas to no avail, :)

To muhannad,

A man needs a woman, just as a fish, needs a bike.
Basicly it goes like this a man can easily do without a woman, justs as a fish would need a bike. Now have you ever seen a fish on a bike going down the street, well I haven't. So its just a term, that us men can quite comfortably, live without women if we had to. But sadly women  need us men for many reasons:
Here are a few
who would they be able to cry to when their finger nails are broken, go to the man i.e. husband
who would get that eight legged spider out of the bathroom, oh no not women to squimish!! call a man,
who would they be able to talk to if they left the handbrake on the car and tried to drive off without realising, again talk to a man to fix the car at the garage
who would they be able to talk to if they just wanted to nag someone, do a mans head in, coz a man is warm, listens to them is gentle and can even respond.
who would you call if you wanted to change the light bulb, again call a man, becuase it'll take one man to do the job whereas it'll take ten women just to talk about changing the light bulb

The above are just a few examples that women are really lost in the wilderness without a man. And yes I am a man of the 21st century.

Enjoy your day.

p.s. the above is meant to be a joke, lets not start a heated flame war. :)

Brother Hanif, I think there was potential to start WW III right there man!

What could this mean, do you guys think:

A women without; her man is nothing.

I tghink in Shakespearean terms that still makes sense lol.

take it easy guys. asalaamu alaikum.anik,.

Hanif, your punctuation is messed up in that sentence.  It should be like this:

A man needs a woman just as a fish needs a bike.

No need for any commas.

*sigh*

You're lucky you put that bit in at the end about it only being a joke...I would have had to kill you otherwise.
That bit about the spider is true mind you. I don't even let my husband kill them. He has to catch it and throw it out the window the poor man. And usually if I just want to nag someone then my husband is *never* warm and gentle...but yes...he *does* respond. Although usually not in the way I'd like him to.

Does anyone have that thread from the Ikhwan folder that got lost..about rules for wives or something similar? That was a good one.
