| [slm] is Al-Meezan (the Scale) the same thing as our book of deeds? I mean you know how our deeds will be weighed is this referring to our book of deeds? i'm confused... |

| [slm] It is not the same. Al-Meezan is the scale on which good and bad deeds will be weighed against each other. The book of deeds is a record which keeps track of all the deeds that you have done so far, and categorizes them as good or bad. Note: Do not think that this al-meezan is like the scales that we use on this earth, nor is this book of deeds like the books that we use in our daily lives. How these things look like in reality is part of the Unseen. We know they exist. We don't know how they look like. And Allah knows best. |
