| Assalam-u-Alaikum, I've noticed a lot of thread are being locked because they tend to try and repeat discussions that already had taken place at length e.g. music, madhabs, etc. So I was thinking wouldn't it be a good idea to have all those 'Frequently Asked About Threads' linked to in a particular section of the board (maybe like a separate section like the Message Index)? | Assalam-u-Alaikum, Extremely sorry for the late reply, but the ISP was down. It would be more than an honor for me to do it, but the only thing is that it would have to be after the midterms starting next monday. The basic idea I have in mind regarding this is that the page would like a typical FAQ except the answers would be links to relating threads. Suggestions are, of course, welcome. Salaam i suggest we put up a link to the international islamic university of malaysia's articles link then all you have to do is get a leech program and grab the articles so new muslims can then if they want to look up anything do it without it costing anything using windows word search ps the site contains the fiqh us sunnah the ottoman law manual al muwatta bukhari and muslim as well as articles dealing with modern issues then if somebody has a question they want answered they can post it on the board without us getting involved in endlessly debating various questions about womens rights etc how does that sound? |

As the Special Forum originated as a Special [i]Ramadhan[/i] then Ramadhan Passed. It became the [i]Road to Makkah[/i] Forum. Then the [i]Hijrah Way[/i] and now the [i]Tree of Hope[/i]. InshAllah, in Ramadhan 1422, later this solar year in November, when the Holy Month of Fasting makes its return, the ideas and hopes and themes and joy and questions will be Repeated again, if not the threads themselves. And InshAllah, again in October 2002 / Ramadhan 1423, it'll happen again. Therefore, The [url]Jannah.org/Special[/url] Thread is now SPECIAL for TWO reasons. What Think? ~ HiMY! ~ |
