assalaamu alaikum In the July issue of our newsletter we want to cover marriage issues. We'd like to focus on issues that are growing problems in our communities, but also advice on how the true relationship between hubby & wife should be (i.e. love & mercy). Two dead cert topics are: - The ruling on forced marriages - The evil of spouse abuse What about other things like: - marriage to non-Muslims Remember the vast majority of these newsletters are read by non-practising Muslims, thus, the topics chosen and the way the topics are addressed are of major importance. Any good resources out there? Kashif Wa Salaam PS The articles should be concise and not too long. |

AsalamAlay.com Peace and e-Greetings be upon you, What about the problems/successes of when in non-practicing muslim families, ONE of the spouses becomes all balistic suddenly and tries to be SuperMuslim and FORCE the other spouse be an INSTANT muslim. I've seen name-only muslim women resist it when the 'man of the house' tries to force his wife and kids to suddenly become The Muslim COSBY or 7th Heaven Family. What think? |

Muslims in crisis what is our roadmap to success and how we can get back onto the right track Social programmes for the summer Building the Islamic family spirit(home), If any more come to mind I'll let you know. |
