| Assalaamu alaikum, I thought I'd start this thread to save people the hassle of looking threw other threads to find about the ever mysterious basketball game of our dear brother Arsalan. Plus, such an important topic deserves its own thread! First let me repeat what I said earlier. [quote]PLEASE, do not EVER use the words "basketball skills" and "Arsalan" in the same sentence. So all of you who were fooled into believing Arsalan is the Jordan of Pakistan, think again. | Assalamu'alaikum :-) Ok, I know, this thread somewhat publicises Br Arsalan's basketball skills... err... or lack of it.... but...... I just had a meeting with an American brother (of Indian descent) from Detroit, and mashaAllah, he is very tall and big, and speaks with a proper American accent. When I got to know that he is/was a basketball player too... one name came to mind... ===> Arsalan... And mashaAllah, this brother is really cool. He's only 26, but he has done so many good works, mashaALlah, with regards to youth development. Thumbs up to our American brothers and sisters... mashaAllah, they are so much far ahead in the development of Muslim youths via Home-School-Community Collaborations:) And Chicago seems to be a really happening place, mashaAllah! We've really got so much to learn from each other :) Take care all :) Wassalam :-) |
