| Straying Husband [Losing his Islam, any advice?] |

| I need some advice. Alhamdulilah, my husband is not abusive, or a gambler or an alcoholic...I respect him and do my best to be his partner in Islam. But he is losing his Islam...as mine grows, he becomes less interested. He needs reminders to pray salah. He uses bad language, even in front of the children. I fear for his future...and that of my children. He has raised family and culture above religion. I am not sure what steps to take to help him. He is strong willed and will not listen to others...I've tried that. Any suggestions? Salaam alaikum. Your sister in Islam. |

| asslam alikum I understand your preidcament sister and the concern for your husbands and childrens welfare there are certain things which come to mind) 1) Well when he is straying you need to be a pillor of support so that he can come back to you 2) always speak of the greatness of allah and the importnace of faith rather than criticisng him 3) You need to rethink your freinds there is some one there who might be influencing him and there isnt some one there who is adequately coaxing him towards islam 4) take a spiritual holiday 5)a persons iamaan has its fluctuations so be patient and have be brave inshallah everything will work out for the best 6) the last and the most important PRAY To ALLAH swt asking for your husbands deliverance for its him who gives hidayah and its with him to change peoples hearts i hope these few things will help you in some way please pray for me too walikumaslam siddiqui |
