| Assalamu Alaikum !! Hi !! I have been following the posts for quite some time now. Ma'shaAllah, there is good exchange of ideas. I thought it's high time i introduce myself. I'm from Bangalore, India. I hv been a conventional muslim all these days...praying one or two times a day...fasting during Ramadan. But Alhamdulillah, last four or five months has been a great change....I hv been keenly studying Islam and i'm trying to be a practicing muslim. I hope, Insha'Allah, i would stand to gain a lot from here.... Pls pray for me. Wassalam. |

| [slm] Welcome to the board zanfaz. Alhamdulillah, it's good to hear that changes are occurring in your life. Change is exactly what this ummah of ours needs. Allah tells us in the Qur'an: "Indeed Allah does not change the state of a people until they change what is in themselves." Allah has shown you some guidance. Stick to it, and continue to improve yourself. Shaytaan will soon come to you and try to deviate you to a path different from the path of Guidance. Be aware of him. Shun him away, and be focused. Allah only guides whom He wills. You have been blessed. Be thankful for this, and benefit from it. May Allah guides us all to that which He loves. Ameen. Wassalamu alaikum. |

| Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah Welcome, Ahlan wa sahlan wa ya marhaba, khush aamdeed.... Nice of you to join us. I myself don't contribute much to this place, but have learnt immensely from it. MashaAllah the bros and sis here are very nice. Are you a resident of B'lore? Whats the state of Islam and muslims there? I'm an Indian too but from up north. BTW, do u speak Kannad? or malayaalam. | Assalamu Alaikum Jazakallah everyone for the warm welcome !!! Br Zahir, i speak URDU !! And thanx Br Arsalan for the Dua's. Br abc, nice to meet a fellow Indian. Yes, the sisters and brothers here are very nice. Also about the status of Islam and Indian muslims over here, i think things are not as bad as the general perception in the west is. Alhamdulillah, things are improving. Br Wahid, i never knew that u ppl eat chilli's with roti's :-). And thanx everyone for their warm messages. I conclude with this sh'er, (it's in urdu) mere Allah burayee se bachana mujhko nek jo raah hai us raah pe chalana mujhko wassalam |
