| alsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Allah wa barakatuhu so what happened??....i heard some skinhead group did something bad to a shop and then the ppl in that community (mainly young guys) started a riot 'cuz the authorities were kinda just watching??? i was really shocked to see something like this going on......it's great that they're standing up for justice but (i'm in NO way critcizing pls don't misunderstand me) ..didn't the rasul sal Allah 3alayhi wa sallam have rocks thrown at him and meat thrown on his back while praying?...and he didn't retaliate??? i feel like this whole thing was planned just to show muslims can be provoked easily and are at the low end of the human chain.....notice how muslims are always portrayed as violent??...it seems like those skinhead ppl went in to prove their point?? pls let me know the circumstances...it sounds a little too much of a rxn for a store being damaged??? correct me if i'm wrong pls if i have made any mistakes pls let me know of them and forgive me if i have offended anyone jazakum Allah khayr walsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Allah wa barakatuhu |

in retrospect something like this was bound to happen i was in oldham last year for a case and you could literally taste the feeling of despair all you need is some idiots from the bnp and the conservatives to stir it up 40% unemployment is no joke |

| A.W.W. First things first, don't believe what the papers say, the papers are biased and present a distored view, its is nothing but full of lies and deciet. I rang my future bro in law and he told me the reason why there were riots in Oldham, was due to a couple of right wing people coming into the town over the past several weeks. The police tried to control the National Front(NF) and the British National Party(BNP) right wing parties from coming into Oldham, however on Saturday I heard from my bro-in-law that this time they actually physcially harmed people. A number of people were hurt, a PREGNANT women was assulted and her young sibling. These evil racist thugs knocked on peoples doors to cause trouble and stir racial hatred. Yet some of the Asian people in Oldham said enoughs's enough and decided to call the police. The response of the police force was farcial, they arrived two hours later after the evil incident. Now some of the lads started to comlplain that why is it that when Asians are being attacked, threatened or abused you ALWAYS arive late, yet if it was somebody from the white community you arrive within minutes if not seconds. The police started to arrests the very youths who were raising righteous concerns, it was from here that people started to take their anger out on the police, in the end a number of cars were burnt, property damaged and tensions raised. This could have been prevented if the Oldham police force responded earlier and were more sympthatic to the Asian community rather than always adopting a stance of heavy handness. |

| assalaamu alaikum jazakumullahu khair BroHanif. I've been wanting to know the asian/Muslim side of the story regarding whats been happening in Oldham for a while now but i don't know anyone there. Please keep us updated because we need an alternative to what we're seeing and hearing on the TV and on radio. Or better, write to 'The Muslim News' newspaper and ask them to send a reporter down or submit an article to them, insha'llah. Kashif Wa Salaam |

| So we know BNP are racisit but what are views on labour, conservative and lib dems? Who are less racisit? Who would you guys recommend we should vote for in the election? |

errm Anonymous ALL the political parties are ANTI muslim so theres no good labour evil conservative thing thats a dead idea man best thing to do is spoil your ballot because spoilt ballots are counted don't let some chamcha (who couldn't get any other job speaks bad english and knows EXACTLY how to manipulate the corrupt local system because he learnt it in pakistan) fool you into voting by saying 'oh the bnp will be in power if you don't vote' don't vote and when the bnp move in organise the community to make their council powerless ...go slow on everything pretty soon they'll end up discrediting themselves u know labour did the whole asylum issue scam in the '70's when they knew they couldn't win ..learn from ur history labour has opposed EVERY SINGLE ISSUE of concern to muslims and if you go back in history the labour party OPPOSED the creation of pakistan (see 'disastrous twilight') because it has ALWAYS been anti-muslim the conservatives hate you cause your black labour hates you cause your muslim look to yourself make a stand don't let others take away your voice and put words in your mouth |

| AA I think there's a lot to be said for restraint. In the 70's, when I was growing up in the UK, I was not allowed to consider myself British. I faced a lot of verbal abuse, but took it on the nose. As for the right wing parties (NF at that time), vast majority of British people hated them. Now it seems that the new generation is more hot headed than the previous one, and does not want to restrain itself. Just my tuppence worth. |

| Tories have been in power for many years, and then Labour took power. I did not notice any thing change, did any of you? all the policies that the cons were doing were continued by labour. all of them hate Muslims because Muslims are bad for them. This country is ruled by the rich, for the rich and with the rich. the party in power makes no real difference. Things that matter are decided by the civil service to benefit the people who really rule the country. Parties who don't fit the bill will never be allowed to take power. The rich own the media and the media decide who we vote for. Any way, please don't vote, it is Harram. |

We can only vote for a party who promises that they will rule by Sharre'ah. Some ppl use the logic that we will vote fr the party that will bring less evil. But this logic is stupid. Why vote for this evil ppl at all..............we should rather work on restoring the sharee'ah n bring the khilafa back. Ameen!!! |
