I have a problem. I'm writing a paper on the dispute for Kashmir between India and Pakistan and I have to draw a conclusion from the evidence I've found (mainly from newspapers); evidence being both sides of the argument. But my problem lies in the conclusion part... I'm trying to find alternate motives for India's claims for Kashmir, but I've been having some trouble. If anyone knows more about this topic or has any ideas, please help! thanks

Papers might be a problem, they might be biased. My advice is go ask your Kashmiri centre, they'll have more information and believe me they'll tell you the truth about the number of women being raped, assulted and abused. And the other Kashmir true horror stories

What newspapers did you try? I hope you tried muslim or pakistani newspapers as well. There are quite a few good ones out there, in english.

Try www.iviews.com

I love them. they are one of the best.

With this paper, it's going to be really hard trying to keep it not biased considering it's a fight between Hindus and Muslims. I also have to present my topic to the class, and I wanted to show a Kashmir relief video that protrays clearly what it's like for the Kashmiris. In terms of resources, I've gone to something like Kashmir.com, Pakistans government page, and the BBC news webpage, which had a lot of good information. I also searched through a database, which had tons of other newspapers. Any tips on anything I should stay away from when searching? and thank you for the new webpages. Salaam

Wa Alaikum Assalam,

I think you should try http://www.elibrary.com/.  You can tell it if you want search results from books, newspapers etc.  My teacher told me that the site was made specifically for education.

Assalamu Alaikum
