Bismillahi Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu-anhu), the Prophet
Muhammad (Sallala Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "Whoever treads a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to paradise" (at-Tirmidhi).


We are looking for these serious students!

- Do you want to gain intensive Islamic knowledge during the summer?

- Would you enjoy learning from classic Islamic text?

- Would you like to learn from the Shaykh's manners as well as his
knowledge?

Then you need to seriously consider coming to Houston this summer!


The brothers in Houston are arranging six weeks of intensive classes with eight different students of knowledge. Classes are offered in one-week segments, from June 25th to August 2nd, with a different instructor each week. Come for one week, two weeks, or all six weeks. Classes will be held in Masjid al-Farooq, w! here separate seating arrangements are available for sisters.

Our Instructors are dedicated students of knowledge from the US, UK,
Caribbean and Saudi Arabia. They have all lived in the West and speak
English fluently.

Currently, the instructors who have expressed a strong desire to come
are listed below. Other speakers may agree to come at a later date.


1. Abu Shuaib Ashmead Choat: Originally from Trinidad, he graduated
from the Islamic University of Madinah with a B.A. (College of Hadeeth). He is an active da'ee in Trinidad and Tobago, and recently formed an Islamic school, Daarul Quraan wal Hadith.

2. Abu Salman Deya ud-Deen Eberle: Originally from America, he
graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah with a B.A. (College of Hadeeth) and M.A. (College of Aqeedah). He lived in Pakistan for six years where he was a Professor in Jamiah Abu Bakr in Karachi. He is currently the Imam in Springfie! ld, Mo.

3. Fareed Abdullah: Originally from the Bahamas, he completed his
undergraduate studies at Imam Muhammad Ibn Sa'ud University in Riyadh
before attending the Ma'had Aalee lil-Qudaat (Institute of Higher
Jurisprudence).  He is currently an Imam and teacher in Los Angeles, Ca.

4. Sa'eed Rageah: Originally from Somalia, he recently graduated from
the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in America (IIASA) in Falls Church, Va. He is an active da'ee in the Washington D.C. area and has served as Imam for the community of Maryland.

5. Abu 'Aaliyah Surkheel Ibn Anwar Sharif: An independent student of
knowledge and well known da'ee in London. He is a prolific translator.
Recent translations include: 'The Declaration of Faith' by Shaykh
Saalih ibn Fawzaan al-Fawzaan and 'The Ideological Attack' by Shaykh Abdul-Aziz bin Baaz.

6. Waleed Basyouni: Originally from Egypt, he was raised in Saudi
Arabia under! the tutelage of many of the leadi ng scholars there, including Shaykh Bin Baaz and Shaykh Uthaymeen (may Allah have Mercy on them both). He graduated from Imam Muhammad Ibn Sa'ud University in Riyadh with a B.A. and M.A. in Aqeedah. He is currently an Imam in the Houston area and teaches at the American Open University.

7. Yaser Issa Birjas: Originally from Jordan, he graduated with a B.A.
(College of Sharee'ah) from the Islamic University of Madinah with
honors.  He is currently the Imam at the Islamic Center of El Paso, Texas.

8. Yasir Qadhi: Originally from Houston, he is currently studying in
the Islamic University of Madinah completing his M.A. (College of Aqeedah).  He has already completed a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (University of Houston) and B.A. in Hadeeth Sciences (Madinah). He has authored many books, including 'Riyaa ? Hidden Shirk' and 'An Introduction to the Sciences of the Qur'aan.'

All classes are provided free of charge (tho ugh we request a donation
of $25 per week for those whom Allah has Blessed with rizq). You are
responsible for transportation, food, and lodging. We can arrange accommodations for reasonable rates if you contact us quickly.
