| salaam does anyone know what the opportune time in this hadith is? Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) talked about Friday and said, "There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand." And he (the Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands. Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 13 |

| AA Can't remeber the daleel, but I have heard two opinions : 1. The time between the khateeb finsihing the khutbah and starting the salat 2. The time just before maghrib. Allahi Alim. |

| [slm], I have also understood from our Imam that the hour might not be a fixed one. Just like Laylatul Qadr can be any one of the odd nights in Ramadan, Allah did not reveal the exact time of the period of jumuah when the dua is accepted. This in order that we might gain even more blessings by keeping ourselves busy in the adhkar and keep making dua during all of the time. So there is much more reward from the presence of Allah (swt) for us! Wassalam |
