[/quote] Actually, the site is from Singapore... alhamdulillah, it's by a group of brothers... whom, I have the honour of personally knowing them, mashaALlah... since... erm... when I was as young as 17... and that is way way way way way ... erm... a short while ago...(in light years!). :-) And they're really cool... my dearest Singapore brothers :-) But some of the articles are in Malay... so I guess... some U might not be able to understand them... like... it came out in the papers about marriage in campus, which is quite a nice read. Oh yes! Puan means Madam... usually when U're married, U'll be called Puan *your name* as in Puan Barr and if U're not, it's Saudari Barr.... We don't have Mrs in our language.... |

| Sorry... just to add... The book: Tranquil Hearts.. is the best book that I have ever read on marriage. I gave a copy to my British counterparts and they absolutely loved it! :) So, I would strongly recommend for those who are abt to get married, or just simply interested to read it. It also has a section on marriage with converts... however, please bear in mind, that this is written within the Singapore context as well.. but I think most of it is universal and very applicable to those in the West ... or East. :) But, but... bad news... the link to order the book via the munakahat site.. well... we don't have anymore copies of it for book orders. If U'd like, you might wanna enquire it through the [url=www.darul-arqam.org.sg/]Singapore COnverts Assoiation (Darul Arqam)[/url]. They've just got the 2nd edition out. wassalam :-) |
