| Asalaam alaikum, What are some website links to news in the Muslim world? I haven't done any major changes to my website in such a long time, and I want to include some links on the 1st page of my website to some authentic news in the Muslim world. Especially Palestine, Kashmir, Chechneya, Malaysia, and Sudan. |

| Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah Excellent idea, I'd use that resource! As far as I know: Chechnya = we all know and love www.qoqaz.net Palestine = not sure of one by Palestinians (I'm sure there are plenty out there I'm ignorant of), but I know the Washington Report on Middle Eastern Affairs has by far, one of the more accurate non-Muslim news source on the Middle East and beyond. I believe their website covers back issues at http://www.washington-report.org/index.html Sudan = there was a lecture here by some Muslims who had gone on a "fact-finding" mission in the Sudan; unfortunately, they don't have a website yet. There's a lot of misinformation out there, particularly geared towards the African American communities, regarding the whole "slavery" issue there. Malaysia = not sure In general = www.iviews.com, www.al-talib.com Also, my dad is always checking the Dawn website for Pakistani news... Anyways, good luck with that. |
