Question??? ?????? ??????????????

asalm walakum.. who are the people who come late to the mussjid so park their cars in a way that blocks others in and then do all the little sunnah salats and have long conversations with their friends before they leave. and what punishment do you think the khilafah should adopt for such people?
time for salat had already arrived, I could of parked any where, but I spent time parking it properly so I wont bother others. any how I wanted to get home quick so I left musjid with out sunnahs, and some one was blocking me. if he had spent a little bit more time he could have parked his car a little closer to the wall and that way I wouldn’t have been blocked. I waited for a while, and then decided, he was one of them people who arrives last so parks in a way that stops others from leaving, and also does all the little sunnahs with out moving his car first, and has a good talk to his friends before he leaves. so I decided to squeeze past, it took me a really long time, even though a couple of brothers tried to guide me out. any how even though it took such a long time, the person had still not shown. allah hu alim, how long I would have been there if I waited?
any how, if you lot read the embarrassing moment thing, you will find that I am one of those people,, but that’s different, cause it was cute when I did it.
The moral of this story is, if you come to the musjid last and park in a way to bloke others, move your car before you do the sunnahs, and I you have to talk to your friends, move your car first, then come back and talk to them.
And some thing else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Turn mobile phones offffff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And don’t eat stinking foods, before salat time, and then during salat keep burpping so as to tell every one else what you had just eaten. It might smell nice to you, but not every one else likes the smells of the foods you like, it can be really distracting.
What else,,,,,, hmmmmmmmmmmm,,,, yep yep yep,,, come to the musjids,, jummah is not the only time its open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last one was to the brothers!!!!!!!!

Oh all most forgot the towels in the wadu bit are not for wiping feet.
And please don’t talk loudly while others may be praying, its very distracting,,,,, ohh that’s me… I’m the only one who does that.. forget the last one…….

slm,

hahahaha.. i hear ya jehad... i agree with ya 100%.. the problem goes pretty deep.. its several things.. lack of adhaab, lack of common sense, among other things... sitting here and whinign about it wont help thoguh cause with some people you can tell them a million times and it wont register.. the important thing is to lead by example and show others that the masjid isnt just a public marketplace.. its a sacred place of worship and the center of the community, and having one to call your ownn is a blessing form Allah, not just someth9ign to be taken for granted.. if everyone saw it this way and had more respect for eachother and the masjid for the sake of Allah, a lot of these problems would be eliminated.. may Allah guide us all inshallah, ameen :)

:stepping down off of soapbox: ;-D

you wanna know what the funny thing is, i wrote that thing before magrib. after i went magrib with my brother, we got there late,, and we prayed sunnah after we finished, so we had bloked one person. any way, he was a old school friend of ours so no hard feelings. we stayed longer and asked about each other.

slm,

Well, one time I got blocked in at the masjid and I left a note on the guy's car letting him/her (though i'm pretty sure it was a guy, girls are usually more considerate than that ;) ) that this was *not* a parking spot.

Its kind of a non-confrontational, not so embarassing, yet still effective way to get the message across...most people don't like getting called out on their bad habits.

Take Care,
Nazia

For all of us (myself included), the question to ask before we doing anything which may be inconsiderate : what would the Prophet (SAW) have done ?
