Assalamu alykum warahamatullahi wabarakatuh A muslim can make da'awa everywhere ,all the time,just by being a good practicing muslim,here is how: 1-In school,the girls are seen wearing hijab,that raises questions about islam,that is da'awa. 2-A boy prays at the time of dhur prayer anywhere no matter as long as he does his prayer on time,seeing him making wwudu and praying will raise questions ,that is da'awa. 3-At home,people are not muslims at all,seeing the musilm one praying,and being VERY friendly and has VERY good manners with parents no matter what they say,that is da'awa. 4-At a muslim family's house where nobody else really cares about prayers,seeing you pray and having good manners and good attitude,always passing in grades,having good relationships with others,that is da'awa. 5-When you go as a tourist,and still keep within islamic attire and islamic haram and halal,observing your faith no matter hwere you are ,always dressed clean and nice always well-mannered,that is da'a'wa. 6-When there is a person who thinks he or she is perfect because they do all that is required in islam but do not have the humbleness required of a musilm,being humble and patient will be da'awa to them. Assalamu alykum warahamatullahi wabarakaruh I have attended some iportant seminars on da'awa and I would like my muslim brothers and sisters to benefit inshallah: I will start to write the important things in the seminars I attended. First of all: WHAT ARE THE SPECS of the one doing da'awa? 1-To have a special talent in public speaking. 2-Training(to speak in front of others). 3-To have a lot of knowledge in different fields. 4-Of good appearance(good,clean clothes..etc) 5-To be he himself a good example. 6-To know a lot of Quran and Sunnah,history(from history you can give good examples of other people). 7-To know of what is happening around in the world. 8-To be familiar with psychology (to be able to understand people more). SECOND:What are the steps to makinga da'awa program? 1-First you have to ask yourself: What is the aim of your call(da'awa)? -Calling people to Islam with wisdom and good preaching. At this point you have to know who are you planning to call,Muslims or non-muslims.For each has a different approach. 2-what type of message are you planning to give? -word -preaching -speech -leaflets -tapes(audio or video) -email -webpage -cell phone messages. 3-When? You need to determine the suitable time to give this da'awa. 4-Where? You need to decide on the place that you are planning to do so,school,hospital,jail,club,or whichever place you choose.(for example ,people in jail feel remorse and calling tghem to islam would be a good choice,sick people in hospital are also good candidates,because they need kindness and hope,when we tell them about Allah's mercy they might answer..etc)

slm when you are through with your da'awa packlage plan ,please send it to my email: widwidwid@yahoo.com then I will post the best three packages in my forum at: http://pub70.ez.board.com/blearningislam there is also prizes for the best three(a cd of any quran reader of your choice).

Kathy,I will have to see how many I get first,then how beneficial the package will be to the group chosen. **sorry for the delay in answering,I was on vacation and had no pc.
