Hi everybody!

After much lurking I have decided to decloak :)

I already mentioned a couple of things about myself in an anonymous post...let me repeat them here...I'm not Muslim but have been hanging out on this board for a while, cause I think  Islam is fascinating.  I'm also interested in Arab culture.

Okay, let's see, what else?  I'm not married, I'm a writer (also studying to be a personal trainer for women,) love to travel, read alot, adore Star Trek, and always seem to be on a Quest for the Greater Meaning of Life, which pretty much just means that I give myself a lot of headaches.  Anyone else out there spend too much time THINKING and PONDERING?!

Hello, tooo :)..

I am Rahmi, Alhamdulilah , I am muslim girl, I am 22, ..not married yet :(.. I am university student..

Well..I do like much to spend my time to THINKING and PONDERING :) :):)..

But..I dont want to spend whole my time just to think and ponder..then I will not be able to do all my responsibilities :(..

But sometimes..I enjoy very much being lonely and think about many things :)...

hmm..sometimes..I try to make some poems in my brain :-)..

That's all

Have wonderful day..

Bye

Hi Sparrow,

Welcome aboard.  Good to see you signed up.  I wanna thank you again for your words of encouragement which you wrote using the anonymous posting.  You have no idea how badly I needed to read a post like that!

Thinking and pondering.  What precious acts!  We are told again and again to think, ponder, reflect and contemplate in the Qur'an.  A thinking mind can achieve great things.  So keep thinking and pondering.  It would be nice if you can think out loud sometimes here on the board :)  Insha Allah we'll all benefit from your presence here.

Take care.

Welcome Sparrow ;-)

Nice to see that you flew on in here ;-)

As Br Arsalan said, feel free to contribute to our discussions and don't feel shy to give us your point of view.

As for thinking and pondering I think our lives are so busy sometimes that you do need to take time out and just reflect on things once in a while.

May be you can give the Sisters a few pointers in the Akhwat Cafe? ;)

In the meantime Sparrow, nice to have you here

Salam!
Hi Sparrow :) Hope U'll like it here, inshaALlah... would love tohear more from U :) where from?
As for thinking and pondering I think our lives are so busy sometimes that you do need to take time out and just reflect on things once in a while.
And hence, I appreciate my hour long train ride to work... and long journeys [memories of long train and coach rides while in the UK :*( ]... And U'll find me most unfriendly during those times... for my mind would always be somewhere else.... then, I'll fall in slumber... motion makes me sleepy....

Ok, I better stop now, before I embarrass myself any further.

Hi Sparrow,

Welcome aboard. Add me too , to the list of thinkers and ponderers. U know, its the sixth sense, that compels u to believe in the presence of UNSEEN ie God but how do u recognize ur sixth sense?
Ofcourse, THINKING and PONDERING.
