| salaam, all i have to say is SUBHANALLAH to the wonderful creations of Allah (SWT) , im one of the first albanyians along here with dhikr to come back from the islamic retreat up in the adirondacks, the rest (se7en, jannah, laboogie) like i said subhanallah!! i feel like wow relieved it was all about tazkiyah and purifying the soul, we would wake up just to make qiyamul layl and dhikr, SUBHANALLAH and the lake , i cant stop saying that ,(can u feel the love), we went hiking and this isnt ur normal everyday just follow the path trail sort of hiking, this was u have to climb over the huge fallen tree logs, while listening and looking at the GUSHING river right next to u kinda hiking while having the risk of falling off, subhanallah, jannah se7en and laboogie went canoeing and they can tell u of there own experiences, i remember this one part where we were hiking and the brother that was leading us mashallah full of ilm and rememberance of Allah looked at a huge tree that was fallen down and it had its branches sticking out and it reminded him of the siraat we're going to have to pass in the day of judgment and that just blew me away, anyway i just though that maybe me and dhikr would like to share a few words with you about the retreat, and another thing is br mukhtar reminded us the importance of forgiveness so please from the bottom of your qalb please forgive me (and dhikr) if we have offended u in any way, your sisters in islaam, wasalam nouha:) and razia |

| [slm] Nouha do you mind if I move this to Albanyia? There is so much we can say about the retreat, so much I wish to express to all the people on the board from what we learned. I wish you and dhikr had been there the entire time. It was so amazing subhanAllah. The last day everyone was crying and crying...everyone went around and made a reflection...Inshallah I will take some time and write my reflection and put it up... so how about everyone else who came back what did you think, too intense too hard easy beneficial? Suggestions? Ideas? |

| [slm] Subhanallah, Subhanallah, Subhanallah... 100x more is all I can say about this retreat. At this moment I can not post much b/c I'm still trying to collect my thoughts and rearrange myself after such a beautiful experience...please have patience with me. I just pray that those who attended this retreat can apply these tools to their daily lives (and tell those who were not able to attend),please make dua for one another that we can and please keep me in your duas. | It was intense. Its' also really hard to apply what you learned... i need help with that. suggestion- make it later so the little high school kiddies can come. |
