| Some of you might know me from my anonymous posts (Help!!!Please!!!parts 1 & 2). There's not much to say really...I'm a new muslim, less than a month old...I'm 23, black, born and raised in Union, SC where I still reside...I'm a big music fan...I'll read any book that will hold my attention (the Autobiography of Malcolm X was one of the last books to do that, and look, I'm a muslim!!)...I'm one of those wierdo, deep thinker kids who's always searching for the meaning of life? yep, that's me! Anyways, hopefully I can make some friends here on the board. I'm just happy to be here, ya know?!! | Asalaamu Alaikum ;-) Welcome to the Board Br Talib but more importantly welcome to Islam;-) A few pointers for ya: Check out the Help link. It has all those neat ways to express your emotions. So if you're feeling a bit :( because you don't know how to do the smilies, click on the link and you can learn to :) or even :D Don't be :o we have a smilie for nearly every occasion ;) Avoid making jokes about cows. Its not in the constitution but the locals get a bit funny about it, so best stay well clear ;-) As for the rest I'm sure you'll pick it up as you go along. InshaAllah we can all benefit from your presence here ;-) |
