| salam, today, me and my mom were playing badminton. my mom wanted to rest, so she sat on the curb. then, along came my 6 yr old neighbour w/ her dog. the dog was a little fluffy being. so the 6 yr old was introducing her dog to my mom, and my mom said she's scared of dogs. but the girl was like 'oh it wont do anything, pet it' and stuff. so is there any other way, u can tell the owner that u dont really want to play w/ the dog or whatever? |

| salam, yea, just say i don't like to play with dogs!!! i used to say that to my friends, n i'm sure they won't take it offensivly wa-salam |

| I have this problem too. I don't like dogs but living in NYC, they are everywhere. New Yorkers seem to be incapable of going anywhere without dragging their pets with them. Delis, work, the post office, everywhere I go their's a mutt snuffling my legs. What I usually do is refuse to ooh and aah over the dog and instead place a look of utter distaste on my face. Owners usually get the hint. But with a six year old that might be tough. Sparrow |

| slm I really love dogs. But I read that angels don't come into a house where there is a dog. Is it okay to own a dog if he lives in the garden?? wasalaam eleanor |
