| Assalaamu alaikum, brother Masha'Allah, that's great news, I hope your interest in Islam grows and grows, insha'Allah; the learning process never ends! I'm from MD, too...kinda, sorta, ok right now, I'm in MD. So let us know what part, I may be able to tell you where the closest masjid is, insha'Allah...or try www.islamicfinder.com, and type in your zip code, it'll list all the closest masjids...btw - how do your parents feel about your interest in Islam? I ask that mainly b/c I just realized you're too young to drive...I hope Allah makes it easy for you! I have a devout Roman Catholic friend with an interest in Islam, but her family customs/attitudes seem to be the thing that's stopping her...insha'Allah with time. |
