| [slm] The following is an announcement of the forthcoming Intensive Islamic Studies Residential Course to take place from the 25th - 31st July at the Bordesley Centre in Birmingham . Topics of study will include: Qur'an - memorisation, Tajwid & some sciences of the Qur'an Arabic - Multi level (Adavanced students will study Ajrumiyya) The Life of the Prophet (saw) in Makka - texts studied will include The Shifa, History of al-Tabari and Dalail al-Nubuwa of Imam Baihaqi. Reference will be made to Ibn Ishaq, Seeratul Halabiya of Imam al-Halabi and the Seerah of al-Sayed Ahmed bin Zayni al-Dahlan. Fiqh (Marriage, Prayer and Tahara) - taught according to preference of madhab Raqa'iq - hadith pertaining to softening of the heart The programme is open to both brothers and sisters at a cost of £60 residential and £35 non-residential. It will include over 40 hours of study, daily lectures, and a day trip (additional cost of £10).
