| A.W.W. Yep its that time of the year again, 4th of July, is there much hoo-haa this year for Independance day ???? What does the average muslim/muslimah do on this day, go see the fireworks and shows ? Or remember Allah ????. Salaams |

| salaam, well obviously remember Allah, but there are those who go and watch, its not a religious holiday like chrismtas so maybe its ok, as long as you dont put yourself in the situation where their are drugs, beer etc with the non muslims and inshallah u'll be safe, wasalam, nouha:) |

| slm, its jusly 2nd, and since yesterday, some dumb kinds near my house keep shooting fireworks ):( im gonna be at work then at home on the 4th and im just gonna do basically what i always do everyday... i could care less about the fireworks 8-) |

| [slm] Some very generous man in our neighborhood, (obviously very patriotic), planted the american flag in everyone's front yards. We left ours there too. We'll take it down after the fourth of july. :) hehehe.... I wonder what would the neighbors think if we took ours? I'm afraid some red necks might plant another one. :) It's all good though. | Just try to enjoy the day. If that means having a little get toghether with family and friends. And if you can get out to see fireworks, you have to admit they are exciting to see. |

| salam, u americans can go celebrate ur independence day, i'm done celebrating mine. boy, was it fun :P all our tax dollars they wasted on fireworks, they could have used it on healthcare. the fireworks do come from our taxdollars rite? i'm not sure wsalam |
