| Bismillah and salam, I am sorry just about everytime i try to write in the world section it is bad news. Brothers and sisters what is happening to the muslim world? Particularly the Arab world, the jazeera where he was sent! La 7awla wala quwata illa billah. I got an email a few months ago about the biggest church being built in the UAE, can hold thousands. and it was in the news with some niqabi sisters in the front. (personally, i think there were there at the opening to dismiss some points or for some good reason) but ofcourse the media played it up like putting their picture when it says about how many people turn to the church in times of blah blah... I got an email that says, More recently in that country, that Burj Al arab which you can look up in the netwas built by an ill meaning architect. Here is the translation of the email: "I swear by Allah, that i did not subtract or add to this article. And that i copied it from one of the (muntadayat) with every single letter without adding or subtracting The designer/architect of the project of Burj al arab announced today in one of the channels that he finally made one of his wishes come true by building the biggest cross in the world in an arabic, islamic country, and making it face the qibla of the muslims. He announced this a short while before the opening. It has since been noticed that the opening was delayed for three months to attempt to avoid what he did. But they couldn't do anyithing, because the cross is the center of balance for the whole tower. You cannot add or subtract from it's weight." What makes me think it is true is that if you look up the hotel's pictures on the net, you will find many many. But NONE with that side. One picture you can see the side and top of the cross. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make the picture a public directory html, but if you do, i will forward the email with the picture of the cross and you can do it. And on top of all this, they are the brothers of shaytan for being so wasteful of money (mubath-thireen) the prices are unreal!!! I wish so badly there was a genuis muslim architect group that can change it. |
