| assalaamu alaikum Alhumdulillah, its wonderful to hear that the brothers and sisters would like to continue with the Qur'an memorisation that started briefly in Ramadan. This time however, i'd like to make the memorisation more structured and would hope that it becomes a Madinite routine. My plan is that we begin by memorisation of surahs or parts of the Qur'an which have specific benefits associated with them. I realise that this may mean having to go over the first ten verses of sura al-Kahf and surah al-Mulk again for those who many have forgotten and new joiners, but if you guys are up for it then so am i, insha'llah. Kashif Wa Salaam Once you've joined up there is no dropping out otherwise you'll be taken out back and hosed down! PS Malika are you still there? Do you still remember the ten ayaat of surah al-Kahf? and surah al-Mulk? |

| slm I'd like to try this but how will it be done? Will you post up what we have to memorise or do we have to search for it ourselves? And how will you test us? just wondering coz I don't want to get hosed down!!! wasalaam eleanor |

| assalaamu alaikum Alhumdulillah, we have a team now. *smile* I'm going to start a new thread in the Dar al-Hikmah center for the memorisation course insha'llah, so please switch to there now. Kashif Wa Salaam PS 'Anonymous' brothers & sisters are requested to register so that it becomes easier for me to know how we are all progressing insha'llah. If we get more than one anonymous Muslim joining this, then confusion may follow if they all post on the forum under the title of 'anonymous.' If you willmemorise under anonymous, then you won't be sent the e-mail tests. |
