What are your Ages?

A.A. guys just wondering, and I want to get an idea here... HOW OLD IS EVERYONE ON THE BOARD? I wonder sometimes and seeing the age range here is beautiful and makes me happy.  Some of us sound pretty old (or mature as well) and some mature and yet still kids inside (that's the best part). So yeah, I am 18 and a half. anyone else? asalaamu alaikum. abdullah,.

Assalamu alaikum! 23 and feeling it!!!! I heard an interesting thing off the Life network...it was a show on body modification and the obsession to look young.  A psycologist from UofT made the paraphrased statement, "I don't understand why people say that they feel 19 at the age of 45.  Yes, it's nice to feel energized...but I think it is more of a reflection of their mentality.  We should think of ourselves as gaining wisdom...not as growing old." Masha'allah....I hope that I am as accepting of my "wise years" when I get there :) Wasalaam, ~Sabr :-)

A.A. Apparently when I was born I just don't have another set of teeth underneath my babies... only some adult teeth developed while others didn't, and I also got teeth very late in life... like 1 years old or something... well yeah right now, only my front teeth and the primary molars are adult, all the rest are baby and I've been aiting for years for them to come out... now I am worried that they actually might! The dentist says after these teeth I'll need dentures lol ;-). asalaamu aalikum. abdullah,.

Salaam. Hey, why would any one be afraid from Crawley. We have one of the most active masjids in the UK, open minded and a beautiful islamic atmosphere. We have some of the most pious brothers here.Track record of 15 reverts in the last 5 years. Brothers here have  personal links with some the most famous personalities eg Hamza Yusuf , Maulan Ahmed Ali, maulana masood just to name a few. There are always talks by different groups all the time! We are easily accessible by Air(Gatwick int Airport) by train, 4 main rail stations, by road, Off M23 ! 6 Seaports just  less than 30 miles from here...London juust 30 mins rail journey away! Need i say anymore sisters...?!

assalamu alaikum, br. jehad, is that a saying? i find it kinda wise, eh? actually biologically speaking, pretty much every cell in the body is renewed, whereas for some tissues, they just die off and do not regenerate.  one of the few exceptions is the eye lens.  it grows when one goes through a growth spur (during teen years) but its core remains there fully functioning. so in the centre of the eye lens, you have cells that were there since the eyes developed while you were a tiny baby in your mom's womb.  subhana Allah. hey lisha, can you guess how old i am?  if i were to use the same the logic you used to estimate the ages of jannah & co., i would estimate your age to be 7  hehe- i know you are are 14 (or not too far off).  like jannah said, age is a non-issue here on the board (especially for the old fogies like me!) wassalam

A.A. for sure, age ain't nothing but a number, it was just interesting to see how old people are (because regardless of how "insignificant" age is, we do see different trends amongst various age groups... it also helps us put someone into persepctive in terms of their understanding and personality... also, and not that there's anything wrong with this, but refraining to or hiding your age also tells a lot about the person... lol it's all fun though... asalaamu alaikum. abdullah,.
