The woman eats and sleeps with the scorpions A Malaysian woman sharing a cage with 2,000 scorpions has asked for another 1,000 despite being stung for a second time. The woman, 24-year-old Nor Malena Hassan is trying to break a world record by spending a month in a glass case with the scorpions. On Tuesday she fainted after one of them stung her arm. But event organisers said she wanted the extra scorpions to prove she still deserved to be known as "Scorpion Queen". "Malena told me to put more inside. She wants a challenge," said spokesman Ali Khan Shamsuddin. 'A little depressed' The woman has lived in a 12 square metre (130 square foot) case since 1 July, at Kelantan State Museum in the north-eastern town of Kota Baru. She eats and sleeps with the scorpions and is allowed out 15 minutes a day to use the bathroom. On Wednesday she was unable to speak to reporters as she was recovering from the sting. "She had been surrounded by scorpions for 17 days so she was feeling a little depressed. But she's feeling better today," a spokesman said. The extra scorpions are to be released into the case on Thursday. The "Scorpion Queen" has previously specialised in handling poisonous snakes. Last year another Malaysian woman won a place for herself in local record books after spending 31 days living with 90 snakes. |

[/quote] Actually I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of all those scorpions surrounding her. I think its good sometimes to remind ourselves what the punishment of the grave could be like and all the sorts of horrors potentially lying in wait for us :( These are just pictures but imagine if they were real and crawling on your flesh!!!! May Allah protect us all from the punishment of the grave. |
