Salaam alaikum dear sisters!

I just had a question about the tumeric/haldi paste...once you've
applied it, how long do you wait to wash it off? and with what do you wash
it off?  I tried this out last night, but man oh man, was the bathroom
sink a mess, not to mention my face:) hehehe, i was really YELLOW!! and
couldnt get the colour off quickly at all! Any help??? please??

Salaam alaikum

[slm],
Lol sis,i am trying to figure ur bathroom out!!! :D I wish someone had told u about it. I think the best way to use turmeric is with besan/gram flour. Just put like a pinch of haldi in like a tbsp of gram flour and make a paste wth water or milk according to ur skin type. Now this is just MY opinion so I dont say u should definetly use it. So,leave the paste on ur face until it kinda dries up and then rub it off using water(dont scrub it off hard!! :) ).
Well, tahts the way I use it and again it may/maynot work for u but haldi is my fav "facial" space ;)
ANd Allah knows best.

Salaam

What was the brand name of the haldi paste you used? I bought some
vicco tumeric cream (in orange squeezy bottle) and I can leave it on all
night and it doesn't leave a stain at all. Instead it leaves soft skin
with a lovely smell :)

My mum told me she used to use tumeric paste when she was younger and
it used to stain - and she had to scrub hard to get it off.
