| Assalamualiakum Under the Forum of "International House of Kabob" the contents read as: "Rants and raves of Islamic movies, books, media, music, resturant ....." This I believe is misleading and will indirectly imply that movies and music in Islam is permitted which is not the case, no matter how one tries to justify it. Whenever the word movies and music is seen or heard ones mine would immediately goes to normal movies and music which are nothing but rubbish. This would lead to opening pandora box. One can then say why not Islamic interest,Islamic wine or Islamic Zina. I am sure Jannah Board are fully aware of one of the signs of of Qiyamah, which is: "Music and musical instruments will be found in every home". I would therefore humbly suggest to modify or at least re-phrase it so that it could not be misconstrued. It's a misnomer. The best would be to delete the word "Islam" altogether before "Movies" or alternately rephrase it altogether so that not an iota of doubt creeps into ones mind. |

| I think in the Madina we should believe our words are Islamically meant. There is no reason to jump to the conclusion that the movies or music we are talking about are haram ones. We shouldn't be always assuming the worst connotation of a word... let it be innocent before proven guilty!!! :) that's an islamic concept we should try to follow inshallah! Thanks. |
