Assalamo elikuim

Have any of the sisters tried TaeBo? How was it?
This is very embarassing, I think I am kind of an active person(I have to be, I am mother :)), but I couldnt even follow the instructional tape first time. I was trying to follow the moves but when they were doing it altogether or repeating them quickly, I was lost! that was two weeks ago :) and since then havent tried again!

i tried tae bo before, its really fun but it also takes time and effort to get the rythem, just keep practicing and inshallah youll get it, dont rush yourself too, u dont HAVE to go by billy blanks pace, try a movie press pause practice it until u get it and then press play to continue, i think this is easier eh?

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatallahi Wa Barakatuhu

I tried Tae Bo awhile back since I had bought the tapes and it seemed kind of pointless to have them and not use them:)  I totally understand where you are coming from because the first time I did it I was so confused and so lost:)  Insha'allah just stick to it and with time it does get easier!!!  Just give yourself a break to be able to get used to it and keep it up and that it won't happen overnight but takes time to get it down.  Insha'allah you'll get there sis:0

salam,
Tae bo..arghh. I think it's retarded. Girls think it's like some miracle workout or something..hehehe
i just run or make up my own intense dance workout. It's more fun that way and i can use my own creativity.

Tae Bo can be tricky. Even after months of working out I was initially confused when I tried Tae Bo!  I hated it at first but stuck with it, looking like an idiot most of the time, and eventually was able to move from the "basic" to "advanced."  I do it five times a week now and really love it!!

Keep trying!

Peace,

Sparrow

Unfortunately there are no workout videos that I know of where there is no music and the awrah is properly covered.  And Tae Bo is kinda bad in the sense of what the instructor himself is wearing which is waaaaaaaaaaay not covering one's awrah.  Sorry:(
