Parsoli Plans to Launch First-Ever Islamic Pension Fund SINGAPORE, Jumaad al-Awal 16, August 6 (IslamiQ.com): Parsoli (UK) Ltd is planning to introduce the first Islamic pension fund as well as a host of other Islamic products. According to Parsoli managing director Zafar Sareshwala, the move is in line with the company's objective of becoming a one-stop provider of Islamic investment and financial products. Parsoli had previously launched the Parsoli Global Islamic Equity Fund, the first Shari'ah -compliant onshore retail fund. It was the first such fund to have obtained an ISA (Individual Savings Account) affiliation, which allows investors to avail to tax relief on investments up to GBP7,000. Encouraged by the response to the Parsoli Global Islamic Equity Fund, the company held talks with a group of bankers in the US who are reportedly interested in doing exactly the same thing in the country.
