| slm :( I am writing to express my utter disgust for muslim men who view pornographic material. Indulging in such material make the heart rust....the best way to cure yourself is to recite quran remember death and refrian from indluging in such haraam!!! Read the following and you might even weep... :( anon1 : i like 2 read 2...but mainly porn anono2 : well ?? r u really sick enuff to indulge in porn to satisfy your base desires? anon1 : what so sick about it...women get good money 2 in the magazines....i think everyone has a rite 2 do as they plzz anon2 : DO as you please??? You reckon that women degrading them selves to make money is GOOD - wat has the west done to the minds of muslims who used 2 be the pride of the nation??/ anon1 : if they never posed in the mags...what else would they do?? anon2 : do as you please ? ???wen allah asks you about life, youth, hw u spent it, how u took care of welath, earning and spending, and about knowledge of islam and whenther you acted on what you knwo.....what will you say??? you wont run to paradise before you have answered properly anon2: LUk are we talkin About the kufaar women or muslim women - either way don't you think it to be immoral - WRONG! anon1: ok anon1: sure anon2 :why do you agree? you view porn. so aren't you agreeing dat u tink it 2 be RIGHT? anon1: i don't agree with it..i just like lookin anon2: may allah guide you and open your heart so that you can see and hear and do good insha'allah. PORN is haram. anon1: ok read this and notice that anon1 doesn't seem to give a toss???reflect on why the ummah is in such a pathetic state today... I am truly sickened by the westenised attitudes of many. wlm I sincerly want to do something for the benefit of the ummah - insha'allah - fi sabilillah - for the pleasure of allah [swt] |

| You know what i find gets me in a rage? All the MUSLIM shop owners who sell porn! Its disgusting! A Newsagents shop near me sells qurans, islaamic posters etc, and also a huge selection of porn! Its disgraceful. When confronted, all these fools say is "its business, we're not reading them, just selling them, muslims dont by them". Disgraceful isnt it. Se7en i want a picture like that too pleeeeeeeeeeze!!!!!! I'll give you my topee in excnahge for that :-) |

| there's some astronomical number of muslim corner store owners in the major cities here... imagine if all of them stopped selling alcohol/porn... ppl would know..oh hey that's one of those clean muslim shops... etc that would be some real enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.. imam siraj was trying for so long to get all the muslim stores in nyc to join this.. may Allah help him... |

| What about watching TV isn't that Zinah as well you can term it pornogrophy or whatever words you have for it but looking at the opposite sex is harram, when it is not your close family i.e non mahrams. Whether you watch pornos or whether you watch CNN and the newsreader is either a man or a woman. Same goes for glossy magazines as well, the pictures are full of flirty men and women and do you know what sells in the non muslim countrys ??? Sadly its sex and more sex. If the marketing CEO of any firm(s) wants to sell products its done through women or men, through images which arouse men and women of sex becuase that is what sells the product, termed as successful marketing. You only have to look at the likes of Coca-Cola, Levis, Ford etc etc and the marketing message is the same. What a shame. Salaams for now Hanif |

| I totaly agree there's alot of corner stores owned by muslims in the major cities here and small cities every where! They should all stop sellin alcohol ,porn, adult videos well in Canada alcohol isnt a problem cuz it isnt sold in a corner store. It would make the store seeem much more cleaner u wouldnt have to see all those magazines on the top shelf or even in places where kids can see them. |
