| Bismillahi Rahman uRaheem slm Brothers and Sisters of the Madinat, well some of you may have noticed I have been posting less in the last while. Well I hope some of you noticed anyway.. I've had very little time for posting in the last few weeks, although I have been lurking. My good news is that I'm back at school. After a five year break I'm back in the classroom. I got accepted in a course studying Audio-Visual Media Design. This is something like what I had started to study in Ireland before I came here. Apparently my german is good enough for them and I passed the entrance exam with flying colours, so now I find myself from Monday to Friday with 24 other people in a classroom, each sitting in front of a PC and trying to make sense of RGB, CIYK, dpi and so on and so on. We've started with Photoshop and I've been there a week and a half now and I love it. Apart from that life is going swimmingly at the moment, Allah be praised, Alhamdulillah, so I wanted to share it with you, my Madina friends. Thanks for everything, wasalaam eleanor |

| slm, whoo hoo! you're gonna be an 'official' geek! 8-) mashallah.. congrats... i love anythign that involves sitting in front of a computer ;-D hope ya learn lots and earn those big $$$ with your newly acquired skills, inshallah and even maybe be a benefit to the muslim community... believe it or not, theres a need for muslims who know how to work with computer art/graphics out there.. give it your best and inshallah you'll have a blast doin it too :) g'luck and great to have you back :) |

| slm Congratulations Eleanor. :) I know another person that received a degree in this but is having a hard time finding a job. If anyone knows of Muslim businesses looking for graphic's artists I'll pass the info onto this person. |
