| slm Ok, my mouse button is acting weird when I hilight some text for copying/editing, As I start to hilight the text it unhilights it then starts to hilight from where I left off hilighting, omitting the previous stuff I hilighted. Is there a registry setting I can change or fix to remedy this problem? |

| slm Hahaha, yes, I restart it a lot of times. Anyways, I found the problem, I had another mouse lying around, the same brand, and it works fine with that mouse. So I guess the button went flaky on me on the other mouse. Maybe it needs cleaning? Its an optical mouse by inland |

| [slm] bro just get an optical mouse, you never have to clean those. They have gone down in price too. |

| slm The mouse is optical. Its the button that was acting weird, and the strange thing is that I can't open it up. |

| Hmmmn. What a coincidence! My mouse is acting very wierd too--for a couple of days. Since I downloaded that "Trog" virus. I use Rob's computor when I am babysitting the kids. Anyhow, since that virus, which apparently came with that "Ramadan" message which was discussed earlier. So he tried to delete it--and finally just the day before yesterday, he downloaded a program that was supposed to be a virus protector/deletor, and it said we had 5 viruses! Then he deleted those--however, since then, the mouse has not been working properly, and also wants to highlight and delete text at will! How strange! Is anyone else having this problem? I am also wondering what to do about it. It is really interfering with my use of the computor here. Any ideas?--Sonny |
