| AA How can Udipi be on this list ? First, it's not halal meat, it's vegetarian. Secondly, I've been to their restaurant in Ashland, MA. It's OK, nothing special. If you're Punjbai like me, South Indian vegetarian stuff takes a LOT of getting used to. Here is my personal list : 1. Tabaq, Jackson Heights, NY 2. Darbar, Plano, TX 3. Afghan Kebab House No. 4, Jackson Heights, NY 4. Shahwarma King, Brookline, MA I haven't seen enough to make a top 20 list! |

| Salaams If you your in Herdon, VA the place to be is Charcoal Khabob. It's the the best place to get good food and good service from your brothers in islam. And if you want good lunch meat by the way, Rockville Gourmet in Rockville, MD hands down is the best halaal meat store in the world. |

| wlm, humblemuslim where's tabaq do you have their address or phone number? what kind of food? we were just down in nyc yesterday and went to afghan kebab b/c we couldn't find any other halal places in a hurry... naeem there was one place altaf took me in tyson's corner.. shwarma and stuff?? i remember it being good... |
