slm How now brown cow! I have a little pressie for thou! It's long and sharp and it's blade is gleaming What's that I hear, why are you screaming? Didn't you know that your days were numbered as you grazed in the meadow and in the sun you slumbered? Come on brown cow, we're waiting on you so come over here. let me do what I do. 10 minutes later how now Mr Farmer McBrown didn't you know I am stronger than thou! lot's more weight and therfore more strength it must be all the money you spent on high fat feeds and luscious grass it all came back to kick your *** nobody tries to get me down! After all I am Mr Cow, Brown. So let that be a lesson to you now get up off the ground whereon you just flew. Created on the spur of the moment by Eleanor wasalaam |

Salaam I am not Albanyan ( in fact I am an Asian who is supposed to be doing her report but is being unsuccessful aas she is easily distracted but goodness its nearly 5am here) however I can do that Leprechaun thingy. Yonder the hill in a blissful glade Play some creature colour like jade Pointy ears so long above Kids would pull, oh how they'd love Sticklike legs with funny shoes Kicking a lark mischief loose Grinning faces with evil intent Pranks galore they are surely bent But fear of one they are indeed All commands they surely heed "oh anything but that" they all do think "Dont turn our green outfit to pink" LOL sorry this is cheesy vut its 5am and I am tired. Sigh. |

slm vah vah vah well, Solehah, props to you for trying... all those Albanyians don't have a poetic bone in their body I'm afraid ;-D since this thread is called cow poetry I'm going to try to come up with something on the spur of the moment again..how about..mm.. Cows by eleanor cows are brown cows are black cows are white and are generally fat the chew the cud and then some more as a matter of fact that's all they're there for they have four stomachs and give us yummy yummy milk oh what else to write? their coats are smooth as silk! they can be a symbol of the place where you're from for example "cow county" may be familiar to some... okay, running out of inspiration here. I have to go sit on a bench by the river, or go walking in some daffodils to get some more methinks. wasalaam eleanor |

Salam, Lol..^_^ This is amusing.. You guys are quite talented..I'm awful at poetry (and any form of creative writing for that matter).. When I'm inspired (which is almost never) it's at the weirdest times and in the oddest places. I can't really force myself to write something on the spot it kinda has to come to me from above at the most unexpected times.. I regret that I can't contribute to this thread in a meaningful way.. but I'll be sitting here, on the sidelines, rooting for the rest of you. ^_^. Salam, merimda |

Are vah vah vah Eleanor That is indeed a good effort. And yes, this is cow poetry so I shall give my two cents worth ( don't tell Sis Barr, but she is at her desk thinking I am finishing my report heh heh ) Cow Poetry Oh what makes a cow a cow ? A question some philosophers ask Is it a creature to which some people bow Or a lazy animal in the sun do bask Are they just horn-given creatures Or are they a mooing entity Can we define them by their odd features Yucks no cos when they chew they look silly A cow is an alternative food To goats who are cholestrol friendly But having beef chop is crude Give me lamb chop and I am extra happy A cow is a cow is a cow nuff said Not much literature can be had of it Thats why the philosophers are abandoning the issue Now how do we silence that infernal moo ? Oklah, I better get off the board. Back to my reports. Ugh Wassalam |

[slm] I'll keep this one short: Will you look at the simple life of the cow It is a creature that doesn't require much know how to be content, it simply stands on all fours to be a resident of Albanyia, oh what a bore! [wlm] |
