I was looking for some NEW GOOD (i.e. Bling-Bling) books, CDs, and/or DVDs.  (Please don't list any audio tapes or VHS tapes).  Some of the ones I was considering I'll list out and get your opinion.

The History of Islam by Akbar Shah Najeebabadi (3 volume set on Islamic History covering pre-Islamic world to the Ottoman Dynasty, complete 3 volume set is $48)

Lives of the Prophets Volume 1,2,3 and 4 by Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki.  The 1st 2 volumes cover the lives of Adam (As) through Yunus (as) and the last 2 volumes cover the lives of Musa (as) through Isa (as).  Its $80 for all 4 volumes on CD (21 CDs total).

A guide to understanding Islamic Investing - Shaykh Yusuf Talal DeLorenzo

Religious Extremism by Dr. Sh. Abdul Rahmaan al-Luwaihiq $45 (643 pages)

The Hudud by Muhammad 'Ata Alsid Sidahmad- deals with the Islamic criminal lawas $80 (432 pages)

maybe How to Approach and Understand the Quran by Jamal Zarabozo (although this isn't a new book).

ok, those were the ones I was thinking about.

I've read the History Of Islam book (2 volumes out of 3), and it seems really awesome.  The best book on Islamic history available in English, bar none.

Anwar Awlaki's tapes are awesome also.

There are several CD's out there of Hamza Yusuf's lectures.  I saw some at the Isna bazaar.  You may want to contact Al-hambra or Ihyaa publications and see what they have.

Wassalamu alaikum.
