| Assssalam Alaykum (peace and blessings be upon you) I'm sure many of you have already heard the news of the massive pro-Israel rally planned for September 23, 2001 in which between 50,000 and 100,000 participants are expected. What you may not have heard about is the rally that is being planned to counter it. On the same day (naturally), al-awda, in coordination with many other large groups, will be holding a rally against Ariel Sharon (who will be visiting NYC during that time) and against the mass devastation, getting worse by the minute, in Palestine. Please forward this notice to as many people as humanly possible (I know some of you have some huge lists) so that we may (Inshallah=God willing) match our opposition.
