| Assalamualaikum:) My sister was watching Alladin the other day and I was thinking if you could change or have anything in this world what would it be and why? Walaikum Assalam:) P.S Only 3 wishes ;) |

| slm, well i think that we should wish for no such thing as wishes :) because a 'wish' means somethign that you wish for.. and it would be granted unconditionally.. and since only Allah knows what is best for us all, it would not be in our best interest to be able to have whatever we wanted, because we dont know the circumstances of our wishes.. thats why we have somethign faaaar better: duaa. subhanallah, making duaa is like having unlimited wishes, with insurance :) by that i mean that we can ask Allah for whatever we want, and if Allah knows for it to be best for us, then he will grant it if he so wills... if he doesnt, then its all the better for us because we would have otherwise gotten somethign that wasnt the best for us. ok so yeah thats what i think.. does that make sense? if not them please let me know and i'll try to clarify :) ... but to answer the question, i woudl probably be selfish and wish to be a better Muslim ;-) |

| slm, or i just though of something.. the hadith that says that none of us truly believes until he 'wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself'... somethign to think about :) |
