| Bismillah. slm This year is the first Ramadan for me, where with all my heart I am fasting for Allah. For the last three Ramadans I fasted in solidarity with my husband but this year, Alhamdulillah, it's for Allah. For that reason, I would love it if anyone could post articles or experiences about Ramadan, that may be beneficial to me going into my first Ramadan. Even an article on the basics of Ramadan, how to fast, why we fast and how to get the most benefit of fasting would be extremely helpful. | Out side of Ramadan I know there are blessings when fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, but during the month of Shaban, aren't there blessings for fasting during this whple month as well? I was told not to fast on Sat and Sun out of Ramadan, but during Shaban we can fast any day, right? Please help? Asalaamu Alaikum!! :) Denise ;) |
