| Any Suggestions about Student Council Work? |

| Asalaamu' Alaikum, I got elected to the student council today at my school (Muslim) for the high school girls. I've been thinking about it all day and what I want to do. One of the first activities I was thinking we could do is raise awarness about the situation of most Muslims in Afghanistan, raise money, make a dua' after Zuhr prayer, and write e-mails to prez. Musharaf and to the Pakistani embassy here in America (soundvision.com's suggestion). Anyone have any other suggestions? (especially advice on what we can do throughout the year to help refugees). All advice and suggestions are highly appreciated. :) Also, if anyone has any other suggestions about what we could do throughout the year. (Keep in mind that the student body is quite spoiled by "fun" feild trips and are sorta quick on complaning.) Jazakum Alah hu Khairun (in advance :) ) Masalama :) |

| slm I was wondering if it was possible if the Muslims there could maybe give a presentation about Islam to help better educate the teachers and students there? I'm sure people have a lot of questions about Islam. Maybe talk to the principal about this. |
