As-salam-ualakum, I wasn't quite sure where to bring this up but really felt I needed to.  Did anyone else hear the comments of host of Your World on Fox News today(Oct 22).  I was outraged to hear him say (not exact quote but to the best of my understanding):
He said what's wrong with stopping people/students coming in from Saudi, Syria, adn a few other of these countries, we still have students coming from a lot of other countries so our schools don't need them (not exact quote).  He then went on to say why don't muslim americans go back home and visit their relatives for a while until we have a chance to clear all this up.  If they object to this so much maybe they should just look around their mosques and hand over the terrorists.
I just caught the end of the show but I'm sure they have transcripts.
Though several news stations have alhumdulillah been giving Muslims and islam fair coverage, bigoted opinions like these voiced by those who claim to be authorities on information and news just spirals us further into the cycle of misunderstanding and negative stereotypes again.  Inshahallah we can let this host know in an islamic fashion that his comments are inappropriate and as a member of the media he should do a better job of providing the public with fair, intelligent, and news-worthy commentary.

Today on a talk show on the radio I heard some older person calling in and saying that he approved of the bombing of innocent civillians to find the terrorists.  (NOTE: No proof has been provided, just accusations without any proofs).

As-salam-ualakum.  I apologize, I gave the wrong show name (and sent a scathing email to poor Neil Cuvato of Your World).  The correct show was The Big Story with John Gibson and here is the link to his commentary on October 22, 2001.
