Salaam alaikum sisters, I have a question I would like to
ask; is it permissable to just end a four rakat prayer with just the
Ibrahima prayers and not the whole tashahhud? Please help as I want to
perform my salat correct. Shukron for any response according to sunnah and
hadith.

"Salaam alaikum sisters...................", what about the brothers? Wa alaykum as salaam. Anyways, if your question is understood correctly:

"is it permissable to just end a four rakat prayer with just the
Ibrahima prayers and not the whole tashahhud?", in other words can a person leave it out and his salah will still be valid, i.e. to say is it from the wajibaat of salah or from the sunnan of salah? The whole tashahud here meaning: : All compliments be to Allaah - "at tihyaatu lillahi......................................." all the to the end of the dua.
Well, the answer is: it is from the wajibaat of salah and not the sunan, therefore if a person leaves it out intentionally his salah is invalid, but if he forget it he can make sujud a sahw for it. The proof of this tashahud being obligatory and that one has to make sujud as sahw if he forgets it, is the statement of  messnger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam):

"When you sit after every two rak'ahs, then say: All compliments {At tahiyaatu lilllahi wa salawaatu}...... and then each of you should select the supplication he likes best and supplicate Allaah, Mighty and Sublime, [with it].
{Nasaa'i, Ahmad & Tabaraani in Mu`jam al-Kabeer (3/25/1) with a saheeh sanad}.

In another version narrated by An Nasaa'i with a saheeh sanad: Say, All compliments ... in every sittin, and he also ordered "the one who prayed badly" to do so, as has been mentioned {Bukhaari & Muslim}.

As for forgetting the tashahud: "When he forgot to perform the tashahhud after the first two rak'ahs, he would prostrate (twice) for forgetfulness." Bukhaari & Muslim.

Regarding the dua Ibrahima, then one must say this also based on the  statement of messenger (saw) in the following hadeeth, whereby,
"He (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) heard a man supplicating in his prayer without glorifying the majesty of Allaah Exalted, nor sending prayers on the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam), so he said: This man has been hasty." He then called him and said to him and others, "When one of you prays, he should begin with the praise of his Lord, {Allahuma sali.....} Sublime and Mighty, and his exultation, and then send prayers (in one narration: he should send prayers) on the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam), and then supplicate as he wishes." Ahmad, Abu Daawood, Ibn Khuzaimah (1/83/2) & al-Haakim , who declared it saheeh and Dhahabi agreed.

Shaikh Nasir deen Al Albani then commented on this hadeeth by saying:
It should be known that this hadeeth proves that salaah (sending prayers) on the Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) in this tashahhud is obligatory, due to the command about it. This opinion was taken by Imaam Shaafi`i and by Imaam Ahmad in the later of the two narrations from him, and before them by several Companions, as well as other people of knowledge. Because of this, Aajuri said in Sharee`ah (p. 415): "He who does not send prayers on the Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) in the final tashahhud must repeat the prayer." {The Prophet's Prayer}

Thus in summary, based upon these ahadeeth mentioned, it is clear that one must say the whole tashahud if he or she wishes for his salah to be valid. And Allah knows best.

I am a bit confused. Let me break down the "tashahhud" in four parts:

1. At-tahiyyat (until "wa 3alaa 3ibaad Allah as-SaaliHeen" )
2. Tashahhud
3. Salaah upon the Prophet [saw]
4. Personal du3aa.

As far as I know, the first three are mandatory, whereas the 4th is not. ˙That is, if you say tasleem after "...innaka Hameedun Majeed" your prayer is complete.

Am I right?

Na'am, your are correct, except that your differentiated between:
1. At-tahiyyat (until "wa 3alaa 3ibaad Allah as-SaaliHeen" ) and the
2. Tashahhud,
which is actually one and the same, hence during the tahiyyat we say "Wa ashadu anna la ilaha ilallah..................", this is why it is called the tashahud - because we pronounce the shahadah in the salah, but we say at tahiyyat to sometimes differentiate between this dua and the Salaah upon the Prophet [saw].
So are right, you just need to 1&2 make the same and put 3. as the second part, thus making it  two mandatory parts for the tashahud and not 3. And Allah knows best.
