| Jannat's Grocery Store [color=Blue]I was walking down life's highway a long time ago. One day I saw a sign that read Jannat's Grocery Store As I got a little closer, the door opened wide And when I came to myself I was standing inside. I saw a host of Angels that were standing everywhere One handed me a basket and said: My friend, shop with care Everything a believer needs is inside this store And all you couldn't carry, you could come back for more. First, I got some Patience, Love was in the same row Further down was Understanding you need where you go I got a box or two of Wisdom and a bag of Faith I just couldn't miss knowledge, for it was all over the place I stopped to get some Good Deeds, just in case By then my basket was getting full but I wanted to keep in place I couldn't forget Salvation, for Salvation was for free So I tried to get enough of that for all humanity Then I started up to the counter to pay my bill But as I went along the aisle, I couldn't resist putting a Prayer in For I knew if I didn't, as soon as I stepped outside, I'd run into Sin Peace and Joy were plentiful, They were on the same shelf Honour and Praise were hanging nearby so I helped myself Then I asked the Angel How much do I owe He just smiled and said: Just take them everywhere you go I thought I didn't have enough money, I'd have to go and get some more He smiled and said: All praise is due to Allah, for He owns the store SO if you use what you have and apply it in your life You have paid the full price, you won't have to pay twice![/color] (Author Unknown) |
