I was wondering was the DOme of the Rock built on a jewish temple? is so why? and is it true that the green dome we see is really not masjid alaqsa but another mosque due to israeli/jewish propaganda?? these ?? are based on an email i got that was a power point based on this does neone know how i can post a powerpoint?....... just im me if u want to see it and i will forward it to u

Salaam dear Haseeba I hope I will be able to clarify some of your confusion. There is NO evidence of a "jewish" temple EVER have been bbuilt on the site of Al-Haram Al-Shareef of Masjid Al Aqsa.  The jews spread this lie to rope the world into believing they have legitimate claims to our holy site.  They have had control over our Masjid Al Aqsa for many years, and have constantly been excavating and "looking" for proof of their claims.  They have the most sofisticated machinery, and still they have found NOTHING to prove they have a right over the compound of Al Aqsa.   They will never find the proof they seek, for their claims are baseless. I don't know which green dome you are refering to.  The compound of the Al-Haram Al-Shareef is the whole area including Masjid Al Aqsa, the Dome of the Rock, some underground praying halls, even the trees and empty space around.  It also includes the western wall of Al-Bruaq, which the jews have annexed and made "their own" (called the wailing wall). In this compound there are 2 domes.  The big GOLD one belongs to the masjid of the Dome of the Rock, which many ppl mistakenly refer to al Masjid Al Aqsa.  The real Masjid al Aqsa is just a little to the south of the Dome and it has a greyish/silver dome, which is smaller than the gold one.   The jews have for years shown us only the golden-domed structure, and refusing to show the "real" masjid al aqsa.  This is to confuse the world, so that, in the event of them destroying the "real" masjid al aqsa, they could beam pics of the Dome of the Rock all over the world...and no-one would suspect anything! It is important for all Muslims to clarify these issues! And I thank you for your interest in Al Aqsa mosque, may Allah reward you.
