As salamu alaykum,

I was wondering if anyone could suggest some excellent Islamic sites and books for nonmuslims.  I was given a list about Islam for future social studies teachers at UNH.  The list seems to be lacking sources from Muslims.  Does anyone have some suggestions that I could recommend be added?  Jazakum Allah Khair.

As salamu alaykum

There's *tons*!

As for web sites, start with these:

http://www.islam101.com
http://www.beconvinced.com

Definitely make sure they have a good translation of the Qur'an (Yusuf Ali; Marmaduke Pickthall) with commentary.
