AsalamAlay.com, Peace and e-Greetings be upon you. Speaking with my mom the other day, she said something strange. That people ain't buying greeting cards due to the Anthrax scare. They just don't wanna send cards through the Postal System. Well, that's the general public. How about we muslims? Besides sending e-greetings over the internet, Is anyone from the Madinah planning to send real Paper Eid Cards this Ramadhan? And if so, what are the best cards you've found and how much do they cost? ~ HiMY! ~ |

| Salaams yeah inshaAllah my family will be sending eid cards out :) *or atleast i think we are- it's upto my dad* no anthrax scare is gonna come in our way, lol :) but see there is this lady here who has a business selling professional eid cards, so we get it from her... i don't know if you really want the details about her and stuff... just tell me if you do.. but i would have to find out.. and you know, i have to find out soo many things here for the board and i never remember what it was that i needed to find, lol... i have really really bad memory.. oh well, it's okay, alhamdulillah :) i think people shouldn't let the anthrax scare come in the way of sending out eid cards... it's our special holiday and inshaAllah sending our blessings shouldn't be harmful.. meaning that inshaAllah Allah will protect those cards! LOL :D but i must say, you surely have an interesting way of typing =) this sounds like a question i would have asked! hehe take care everyone Wa Salaams |

| ahh, OF COURSE we're going to send out Eid Cards INSHA'ALLAH, com'on...we can't let anthrax or anything else for that matter get in the way of our Eid cheerfulness (can you tell im one of those people that has "eid lights" and puts them up every Eid, etc etc) umm--since I live in the boonies, no im jk, CT isnt the boonies, but still anyways...there are very few places around here to get Eid Cards from..they range from like 1-3 dollars each, BUT since I'll need something to relieve the stress from my finals during the period prior to Eid, Im thinking of being creative this year, and making my own? depends on when my exams are scheduled tho ia.. I can't believe Ramadan is starting next week!! Times flies by.. ok., Somaira has work to do!! ws Somaira |
