| I just wanted to express thanks for your article on "Happy Husband". I am not Muslim and I typed "how to make your husband happy" into yahoo's search box. Your article and site came up. I am 24 and married at 22 and have a 16 month old son. I NEVER recieved such advice. No one told me anything about how to be a good wife and have harmony in the home. This is important for not only us but our son. I've had a bumpy ride because I was unaware of how to perform my role. I live in Massachusetts and do not know of any support groups for married women with children. It is vey isolating. I just wanted to thank you. -Heather :) |

| slm Glad you found a helpful article at Jannah.org. I found this website too to be most informative and helpful while learning about Islam and it led to my eventual conversion. To be honest I was actually surprised that you liked this article, being a non-Muslim. Many non-Muslims would claim it to be a bit lopsided in favour of the husband and indeed we have had some fiery discussions here (in the Akhwat Cafe, section for women's talk) about articles like that.
