| Assalamu Alaikum Everyone I have wanted to do something usefull with my website for a long time. Now with some ideas and tips from friends I have redesigned my site. I know some of it is a bit simple because I am self taught in the ways of the web! Please give it a try though http://www.geocities.com/muhja00 If you know about webpage design please help me okay! | slm, ooo.. nice mashallah.. the only thing i saw was the Allah background on the front page.. i guess its ok.. i was thinkign maybe somethign a little more eye-pleasing as far as colors go. but the design is much more clean and organized... one little suggestion... add the navigation bar to the top and bottom of the page... so the user wont have to always go to the bottom to navigate. hmm what else... this is more of a personal preference, but one thing that irks me is when everything on a page is center-aligned.. yours is fine but if you're looking for a way to make it more interesting that would be a good place to start.. i know you said you're sort of new at this.. i'll be glad to help you with specifics of the html coding and stuff if you like :) this may be more of a personal preference too, but putting lots of graphics on one page and using a big variety of different fonts/sizes/colors tends to sometimes distract the user form the content... uniformity = eye pleasing = less confusion = happy user ;-D the above was just some constructive design criticism.. feel free to disregard any of it ;) but overall good job... keep it up :) |
